An amazing day was had by all who joined the Sunnyside bowling club on Wednesday the 27th of April 2011 to take part in a national attempt to break the Guinness book of records most bowls delivered in 1 hour.
Many members of the Sunnyside Bowling Club and a good few non members, gathered on the greens at the club with excitement in their bowls! Today we stood together with all the bowling clubs in the country in the attempt to break the most bowls delivered in 60 minutes. Great fun was had by all. After the record breaking attempt, all the bowlers gathered on green A for a spider (photos shown below). What a lively way to spend the day!
